I’m doing sketchvember, although the Rajshri pic was made on Halloween. (I’m open to suggestions if anyone wants to throw some at me!)

I wanted to give a big giant “Thank You! ♥” to everyone who stopped by lastlabyrinth’s and my table at FANdom and commented on our work, chatted for a bit, and/or bought things! It was a lot of fun on top of being our first time in the AA, and I’d like to try another con when I’m able. My only regrets were I was pretty brain dead despite appearances and I didn’t get to poke around at what my fellow artists had up. Next time! >8D It was a lot of fun talking with friends I haven’t seen in years and hopefully talking with new ones. :)

The next time I get an idea for a resume, I need to stop myself. In other news, I discovered SAI’s pen tool is pretty awesome.

Another gift for my friend Becky, meet Tuyen. It’s rather rough, but I like the look. I think I needed a respite from my own characters, because these have been a lot of fun.

Now it’s back to making that resume! /takes aspirin

A tattoo design for one of my BFFs. We share the same birthday (March 13th), so she asked me to draw the two of us as mermaids (Pisces ftw forever) in a Ghibli-esque style. I’m the chubby dark-haired one and she’s the one with tattoo sleeves.

Making drawings for tattoo designs makes me incredibly nervous. But I’ve had this talk with my mother and friends, and I might be making mountains out of molehills. [I’ve never seen a molehill, though.]

I’m working on a bigger ink drawing of Vali and wolves because apparently that part of Norse mythology has consumed my brain to the point of no return.

In a land far away and to the east a bit, there are areas where children do not have guardian angels. Instead, they each have a babushka, little dainty creatures who ensure the children survive to be grown-ups, often by making sure they don’t trip over their untied shoelaces.

A babushka is born from a stone egg and is kept in a chosen family’s bathhouse until they hatch. Usually the egg is a precious stone, so the family can then sell the egg shards to make up for keeping the bathhouse temperature just so for the egg.

Someone get me a dentist, my brain is giving me cavities.
