An ACEO of Eld. The usual suspects of ink, gold iridescent watercolour, and ol’ B29.
I wanted to try them out, but so far I’m not terribly keen on Strathmore’s bamboo cards for inking. It might be different with a regular pen or brush versus a nib, though, so I’ll have to test that out. I was afraid too much ink might make the card buckle, but it evened out when dry, so they can handle some wet media. One will be a guinea pig with watercolour to see how it takes that, too.
Here’s what I made for a Once Upon a Time ATC swap. Emma has such nice hair to play with in a composition. |D
Details from the previous picture:

To put the image into perspective, the photo below shows a dime next to what is shown in the first detail shot (the piece is about 5 1/2” x 11 7/8”). What am I doing to my eyes? 8|

For the Park Your Art contest.
My brain’s half dead and saying no to everything but cocoa right now. Art hurts on days like this.
An ACEO commission of the lovely Leigh’s original character, Clorin, who features in her webcomic. As is the usual case, it looks better in person and not so yellow. Natural media stumps me in capturing it correctly on the digital side of things. = w=
Ink, Copic Markers, and Gold Iridescent Watercolour
Size: 2.5” x 3.5”/6.35 x 8.89cm
*Updated with a better scan from Leigh. ♥
A spot illustration experiment that features Taika’s otter spirit. The otters of Avonte have longer hair than the usual river otter, because it is typically freezing. Or, at least, this is what I tell myself!
I kinda like how the blue box and border aren’t perfectly straight, but that might just be me.

My brain has been infected with some drool-inducing disease that enjoys bright colours.
Freyja likes her bling, and a giant diamond would probably make her sooo happy.
I promised to do a ‘sketch’/drawing/something for Derrewyn for the goodies she sent me with my copy of Brauronian. I still want to do her neat star OC, but… I had to take the oppurtunity to draw Freyja.
The little details on the side are ‘stylized’ cats. I am utterly disappointed I had no internet, so I couldn’t write her name in runes and be a total nerd.
Copics and sumi.
