An ACEO of Eld. The usual suspects of ink, gold iridescent watercolour, and ol’ B29.
I wanted to try them out, but so far I’m not terribly keen on Strathmore’s bamboo cards for inking. It might be different with a regular pen or brush versus a nib, though, so I’ll have to test that out. I was afraid too much ink might make the card buckle, but it evened out when dry, so they can handle some wet media. One will be a guinea pig with watercolour to see how it takes that, too.
A preview of the new illo I made for the Psychopomp revision.
I realized towards the end of inking this that I need to make some kind of generic body template and map out all of the tattoos for order members like Tsune so I can keep those things consistent. It’s going to have to wait for the madness of NaNoWriMo fever.

Nurasua, stop spreading your propaganda all over my grey matter.
*might insert something more coherent when isn’t running on sleep fumes*
A WIP of a small illus I’m hoping to have done tomorrow so I can get something nice and inky to Derrewyn for her project.
Each time I draw something with Nurasua, my head brainstorms more ideas that make me have to shuffle the later plot of Rajshri’s story around.
Here’s what I made for a Once Upon a Time ATC swap. Emma has such nice hair to play with in a composition. |D
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there!
I stayed up a little too late to finish this before she woke up, but the smile on my mom’s face was worth all the inane babblings at my friend at 5 a.m. It’s also the first time I’ve used just watercolour in months, so that’s always nice!
4 1/16” x 5 11/16”. Copic multiliner, watercolour, and a blue pen by that German company.
Details from the previous picture:

To put the image into perspective, the photo below shows a dime next to what is shown in the first detail shot (the piece is about 5 1/2” x 11 7/8”). What am I doing to my eyes? 8|

This art blog needs some art! Here’s a (now old) WIP of a contest entry I’m working on.
The thought process behind this pretty much went as follows: Dreams! —> Sandman? —> Eels carry dreams, which the dream giver selects from and doles out to sleeping minds. —> Wings! Wings are fun. —> Wait, is this an angel, am I drawing angels again? —> I need Madonna lily references. —> Why is it suddenly 2 a.m. and my mind brimming with plot bunnies.
Yikes, I forgot to post this WIP [it looks like it has snowed WIPs around me, seriously, so I missed this one]. It’s an idea for a business card, but I’m not sure if I like it anymore.
